I scheduled an oil change and a tire rotation. I got an oil change but the dealership opted to not do the tire rotation without asking me. When I called back to ask about it, the service advisor told me it should have been done and requested that I bring the truck back. I appreciate them wanting to make it right but it's a huge inconvenience for me to bring in the truck twice for something it was scheduled for on the first trip. If they had a valid reason for not doing it they should have called and communicated that to me. I did not find out until I got home and looked at the service order.

We left our car for 10 days, and the work was done in two, then, by phone we asked for the car to be Detailed, we returned on the 10th of May. The air flow problem was done but the care WAS NOT detailed, but Detailing was on the bill. I have never seen my wife so livid, did not know a clean interior meant so much to her. There was a miss communication with the main problem, we were getting pour air conditioning air flow - and I must have miscommunicated; the air flow as poor but it was also warm when it is supposed to be Cold. I checked the notes and the service rep was just not listening, they need to look us in the eyes when we are speaking and forget about their Tablet. We may have to bring it in again to get Cold air, which would be the 5th time since ownership that the Air Conditioner had to be worked on.

A gal came to us as we were sitting in the waiting area to show us the cabin air filter. It had a few leaves in it but really not that bad at all. I told her that we will change it out ourselves because we already have the filter at home. After our service we get in our vehicle and there is this loud sound coming from the vents which mind you was NOT making any sound before the service. I had to wait a couple days to call and tell them about this because they were not open. I have yet to hear a word from them! I have always always recommended City Chevrolet to everyone I know, guess I will no longer praise this establishment. Do better!

We received a call with excellent advise with regard to our options for fixing the air conditioning problem. Seems that this General Motors model, across brands, has had the same problem, everyone seemed familiar with this problem. To bad GM did not create a better design. We generally give our used car to Family Promise to share with a deserving family; this car will not have a dependable air conditioner [for a low income family] when we buy our next new vehicle.

If you show up or call, you are given an actual appointment much later in the week. I am astounded this hasn't been addressed by your team previously. It happens regularly. I did speak to the Service Manager and he informed me that it was working well and that all the feedback coming in was of the positive nature. He stated that they just did an upgrade and you just have to know how to navigate thru it. I personally have never used it as I don't own a Toyota, but perhaps if you would like to contact John, perhaps he can walk you through the new program?? The work done on our vehicle was good. The communication from the service rep was not good and the attitude is never appreciated from the same gal. We specifically chose to work with a different service rep but when we brought the vehicle in for some reason the other rep still took over our vehicle management. Just not happy with the communication at all every time we have been in with any vehicles.

I will never use City Chevrolet again. A year ago I had a service there and when I got there a couple days ago they found that my oil cap had been left off. For over a year! Dirt going into my engine. They said that they changed my oil this time, but I will need to go somewhere else and have it checked. They never checked my tires, I specifically told them what poundage I wanted them set at and they never touched them. They said they didnt have the right air chuck, for a dually! Seriously, at a car dealership! They never checked fluids. It was a waste of time and a threat to my vehicle. These people are incompetent.

My diagnostic inspection sheet stated that my tires all had 32 psi when my onboard Driver Information Center shows 38 psi in 3 of my tires and 37 psi in the 4th tire. I can't be sure what to take away from this and am not quite comfortable about any other reporting of the status of my vehicle. I have been using City for 25 years and hate to think that there is any shift in the quality that I have become a custom to. The young lady that took my truck in was very nice, courteous and very helpful.

However when my vehicle was ready the receptionist said it would be at least 30 minutes before the driver was available to take me back to work. She did not even check to see if a salesperson could give me a ride so I walked over a mile to get back to work which I was not very pleased about. Please tell management to train the receptionist about better customer service.

Sticker for the next change oil was not stick on the windshield, whenever they carwash the car the license plate was bent and the plastic around it was destroyed. But the people you talk to are helpful.

Hello Maria, thank you so much for your review! I just wanted to let you know that we are aware of the car wash bending the license plates and occasionally catching on the plate covers. Unfortunately, there is not much we can do about it due to the type of car wash we have. Our secondary one is the same. The flaps on the car wash do tend to occasionally catch on to things, not only plates. We rarely wash a vehicle anymore if they do have anything that could likely get damaged or ripped off, but the plates are on every vehicle. The porters or Advisors will bend them back into place if you let them know. Secondly, with the stickers, I believe they are now leaving them in the console or on top the dash, as some people do not like them stuck to their windows. We have received complaints about that, so we have just decided to leave them for the customer to attach if they want. Again, thank you for your review and we hope you have a great day!

I was checked in quickly and politely. I was informed that it was gonna take awhile. Which was no problem, but i had a doctor's appointment in 90 mins. Which was still no problem as they offered a ride there and back Which I did take. That was awesome. When I returned my car was done but I wasn't notified for 15 mins that it was ready as it was still setting on. Tge rack in the shop. No big deal. The only problem I had is that as it was sitting on the rack, the windows where down. Thus rack was right buy the enter exit doors to the shop, hence my interior now has a layer of grit on it that was not there when I dropped my 2026 corvette stingray off. Overall very pleased

When the service advisor told me to oil change was done, he gave me a sheet of paper for the results of an inspection they performed. The battery was marked yellow, and he said I should really think about replacing then. I asked him what he meant, and he said they are bad. I then told him that I just replaced the battery's the day before. Then he started stammering and said sometimes the reader reads low. Along with the batteries showing low, he said the cabin filter and the engine filters were getting really dirty and should think about replacing them. When I opened the glove box to see if things were rearranged, I noted everything was in the exact same spot as when I went into the dealership. I am wondering how the service tech can say the cabin filter is dirty, when he didn't even look at it? Then say my batteries need replacing whe the day before I spent $540 and replaced them. It makes me wonder if the tech even changed the oil.

Brought Tahoe in because 4WD wasn't working. It would not go into 4WD and a message appeared saying "Service 4WD". Mechanic could find anything wrong. It was implied that it was an operator error. I paid $134 and all I got was an insult. Have been driving this vehicle daily for over 20 years. If it was user error why has this never happened before.

I am very sorry that you took her advice as an insult. It surely was not meant as such. I would be happy to facilitate a conversation between you and Codi, or if you would like to discuss this further with me, that would be fine also. Please know, it was not meant to say that you don't know how to operate your vehicle, but instead a suggestion as that is the Service Consultants job to rely the technicians findings to their customers. The Personel at the Dealership were top notch. I was a bit disappointed in my service though. My bump to bump just ran out 1 month ago, my check engine light came on 2 days, so I brought it in to the dealer, and the light had since gone out. They charged me $170 to hook up their scan tool and read the codes to tell them why the engine light came on. Clogged fuel injector, that had cleared. They put in $8.00 worth of fuel injector cleaner for $20.00. Less than 20 mins and cost me $200.00 for them to hook up the scan tool and read the code. I guess I will just ignore the check engine lights from now on, and let Chevy and GM replace parts and engines under warrantys.smile
